Little spell list <a href="https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/552350-icewind-dale-ii/faqs/19054">I've found on gamefaqs</a> which I'd like to preserve in case something happens to the site. Will probably help some people when looking to get into magic builds. The list has 2 sortings which for one is by level, and the other is by Magic type. This guide intended as reference to make better decisions when and what to skill. I also cleaned up the styling a bit and added comments to some sections to make it clearer what every symbol means. Icewind Dale 2 Spell List

The sorcerer is a straightforward Build with lots of flexible options mid combat. You can cast lots of different spells depending on what enemy you are facing. I highly recommend this build if you like to get into the complexities of the battle system since you get forced to combine your spells in different manners to achieve the maximum effect. This build scales well with Charisma!

Icewind Dale 2: Sorcerer Build

Rogues share little in common with each other. Some are stealthy thieves. Others are silver-tongued tricksters. Still others are scouts, infiltrators, spies, diplomats, or thugs. What they share is versatility, adaptability, and resourcefulness. In general, rogues are skilled at getting what others don't want them to get: entrance to a locked treasure vault, safe passage past a deadly trap, secret battle plans, a guard's trust, or some random person's pocket money.

The build is meant to be a fun build since Rogues aren't that powerful in Icewind Dale 2 unfortunately.

The stats revolve around Dexterity and Intelligence since those stats scale best with your skills.

You'll go with Rogue every level obviously. At the end, 9 different skills at your disposal. That means, that you should make use of them all.

As already hinted, the rogue has some flaws which makes the class worse than other classes in the game:

Most glaring problem is the INT focus on the build in my opinion. There is no justification to spent more points into Dexterity since the Rogue doesn't have unique features in their kit that scale well with DEX. Which means that ironically Sorcerer builds can match the damage output by just sub-classing Rogue for couple of levels.

Icewind Dale 2 Tiefling Rogue Build

The Barbarian class is quite special. Barbarians moves fast, much faster than normal characters. They cannot be flanked. They ahve the ability to Rage once per day every 4 levels (starting with one use at first level), which becomes a Greater Rage at 15th level. They gain the ability to resist damage at 11th level and the ability every 4 levels thereafter.

This build focuses primarily on using the Massive Halberd of Hate as main damage source while Greater Rage is activated.

(1) Polearm focus because the Massive Halberd of Hate is a guaranteed find. Wielding this item will give you immense power in fights. In case you find the Massive Greataxe of Flame, then resort to greataxe feat.

The build is pretty straighforward with emphasis on Polearm due to Massive Halberd of Hate. Obviously you will want to improve strength stats as that's the primary scaling factor for your damage.

DR (Damage Reduction) seems to be doubled for ranged weapons. For example, at DR1 the Barbarian resists 2 points of damage from a bullet fired from a sling, but only one point of damage from a hit from a quarterstaff (both bullet and staff inflict bludgeoning damage). Indeed, at DR1 Barbs resist 2 points of piercing damage from arrows fired from bows, too. Thus, at DR6, Barbs are resisting 12 dmg from projectiles. DR from the magical hide armors stack with Barb DR as well:&nbsp;Abishai Hide Armor IWD2. Assuming equal to or less than +2 enchantment, this allows Barb to resist 16 slashing dmg per hit and&nbsp;22&nbsp;piercing dmg per hit, for example.&nbsp;&nbsp;
