Mod Showcase 1: Oblivion Remastered Mods in June 2025

Hello all, today we start a new series where we showcase some cool mods we stumble upon for Oblivion Remastered. Today we have a small list of cool mods you should try out!

Mod 1: Alternate Leveling System

Modifications you can take to configure the leveling experience

The alternate Leveling System mod is surprisingly simple: It takes the current - arguably old level system, and gives it a new dynamic. You will gain experience by finishing Quests, discovering new locations and of course, killing Monsters. The leveling System is taken from Fallout 3 but adds some configuration options, so you can configure it to your own leveling pace.

We think: Good option for players who aren't used to old school type of leveling and like to accelerate things a bit.

Mod 2: Mad Spell Pack

Sick Spell!

The Mad Spell pack adds some new, very cool spells you can buy from different vendors. For instance, there is a Frost spell which freezes enemies completely like you see in above GIF. It reminds us of the old big Spell packs you could get for the original Oblivion release. Surely this spell pack doesn't have that many spells but it's a start and more will surely come. Highly recommended!

Finally

This seems such a low hanging fruit that we have to include it in the list. You can finally purchase Glass, Ebony and Daedric Arrows from merchants once you hit level 16, 20 and 24. In our Playthrough we sometimes went out of arrows and could only resolve back to low damage Iron or Steel Arrows. You really sometimes wish you get more Ebony or Glass arrow loot from enemies but that's rarely the case. 

This mod solves this Problem by allowing you to finally purchase those arrows from vendors. Such a QOL mod you need to install right now!
