Best Armor Mods for Skyrim in 2026

Introduction

Haven't posted in a while about Skyrim and decided now is the day where we start again :) Today I'm going to cover up a bit up Armor mods I found! If you have your own collection feel free to post them in the comments or as a guide :)

1. H2135's Assassins Creed Odyssey Armor

H2135 made a nice piece of Armor for Females with this Assassins Creed inspired Armor set. I like it a lot and should be a must have for any female player in the game. You should get some other medieval mods so the armor piece blends a bit better more naturally into the environment. Apart from that, have fun doing nice screenshots :)

2. Leon Armor

Looking for something more cozy? Fuse00 has a made nice armor piece called Leon Armor which features different jackets and pieces you can mix & match. Highly recommended if you like a more "cozy" look.

3. Peacekeeper Armour

A more common armor piece that lots of people know is the Peacekepper Armour by Billyro and Artsick. The mod features very crisp textures and is more in line with the vanilla armor pieces you find in the game. You have lots of plates around the body to keep yourself safe from stabbing attacks and whatnot!

The mod to install if you want to keep your female character save from sword attacks.

4. Death Knight Armor

Playing a male character? No worries, I got something for you too! I found this Death Knight Armor which is a great looking vanilla type of armor with a touch of fantasy. You do you need to install other mods for this to work, so make sure you check out the description of the mod.

5. Black Desert Armor Collection

The Team TAL has made a nice Black Desert armor collection which you can download from their Patreon Page. The pieces bring me back to some memories I had with friends back in 2015 when Black Desert used to be played alot (and is still played today). I urge you check them out if want to feel a bit of nostalgia and also like more fantasy armor in your game.

6. The Gifts of Akatosh

You want to be a big tanky giant with heavy metal all around you? Then this armor is right for you! The Gifts of Akatosh feature a big boss tanky armor with lots of plates around your body. You will literally never visit the cloud districts again with this armor piece. It also includes a shield which is nice for a tanky fighter build!
