Tip 1: Starter Words should contain alot of Vowels

You can greatly impact how you solve the puzzle by choosing a good starter word. Choose a word with alot of vowels or common consonants (R - S - N - H - L - D - T)

Here are some examples:

• Adieu
• React
• Cream
• Acute
• Soare

Tip 2: Your second Word should cover different Letters

It greatly helpts to get the yellow hints if you choose a word here, that will use completely different letters. That way you can cover 10 of 26 letters with just 2 guesses, e.g. atleast 1 tile will become yellow.

Example: First word -> React, second word -> count

Tip 3: Don't reuse Letters that are Gray

This one is an obvious one if you already played couple of rounds. You should never re-use grayed out letters. You probably won't notice it if you try out a different word but think again if it's worth to try out 1-2 new letters for 3 gray letters. Try to opt for a word which has atleast 3 new letters!

Tip 4: Get a List of 5 Letter Words

Can be a bit of cheating but it greatly helps to find "inspiration" if you google a dandy list of words with only 5 letters. You can much more easily filter out words you already used instead of doing brain gymnastics. It also eases the pain away if you haven't managed to successfully get a word right after weeks of trying. We recommend to have a list at hand in the beginning to get some experience and sense of gameplay.
